We invite you to network over lunch and hear from multi-award winning young professional, Libby Rowlands, Senior Partnerships Manager at Acorns Children's Hospice.

Libby is a passionate fundraising manager who leads the corporate partnerships team at Acorns Children’s Hospice. She has been the recipient of several prestigious awards including Young Achiever of the Year 2021 (Birmingham Awards) and Next Generation Inspiration (National Women’s Inspiration Awards). 

Libby has had a varied career from GDPR compliance to customer insight, before she followed her heart into the world of non-for-profit, running her own CIC which provided over 1,000 birthday cakes for children who wouldn’t have otherwise got one”  

Libby says: “There are so many misconceptions around working in the third sector, that it’s all cakes sales and giant cheques. In fact, fundraisers are skilled sales people, researchers, project managers, event organisers, negotiators and everything in between. I am passionate about attracting amazing talent to the charity sector and sharing how great careers in fundraising can be!”
