‘How To Become A Young Professional Board Member’ covers the fundamentals of becoming a board member, from mastering boardroom behaviours and creating a strong personal brand, to how to apply and interview successfully.

Other areas covered will include what constitutes good governance and how to leverage and grow your network to ensure you maximise your professional connections.

We will discuss the common challenges and opportunities encountered by many of those embarking on developing their career, drawing on the experience of the expert speakers leading the event to offer their personal experiences/advice regarding the process.

The session will ready you with insights on how to prepare and secure a board position as TAG Network Midlands will be announcing Young Professional Board opportunities, followed by an interactive Q&A panel.

To be eligibility to apply, applicants must be:

• Aged 18 - 35
• Live or work within the Midlands region
• Have the ability to commit to a one year board tenure (2021 -2022)
