What do you love about the Midlands region?
I live in Wolverhampton after previously living and working in Milton Keynes for 18 months, I do love Birmingham, living on the outskirts is close and affordable.
Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
Instead of having one main hobby, I dabble in many, ranging from Racket ball, Mountain biking, Business ventures, Airsoft, Investing, Chess and playing guitar. I like to have a base skill level for most activities.
I was recently introduced to the stock market, I feel now that I can accelerate my Life Time ISA towards a house by using the stock market, it is risky, however the most successful business men and women are no stranger to risk.
What is your career goals and aspirations?
My career goals are to continue to climb the ladder in pharmaceuticals, become a line manager by 27, head of unit by the age of 35 and end my career on the Board of Directors.
What challenges do you face?
My job involves a lot of customer facing interactions, and establishing relationships with these customers by getting past the receptionist is a challenge on its own. This is why
building relationships with anyone involved in this interaction is so important, and also a great learning experience for every day life.
Can you tell us what is your most favourite aspect of your role?
My favourite aspect of my role is that I have complete control over my working day and area I manage, without somebody telling me what to do, I can control my area accordingly in order to enhance sales, and my line managers have complete trust in my doing so.
What has been your greatest career milestone to date?
My greatest career milestone is sharing best practice with the team within just three months of joining the company.
Following on from that, I presented my knowledge and expertise at our Christmas meeting to an audience of peers and senior level team members. I believe that this proved how motivated and committed I am to succeed in the eyes of my colleagues and higher management.
Who has been your inspiration both personally and professionally?
I am inspired by my uncle, who has had an extremely successful and accelerated career in the pharmaceuticals and FMCG industry.
I have admired and picked up important qualities from him, such as great customer relations and formalities
What would you like to achieve in the future?
Financially, I would like to achieve a six-figure salary as well as owning multiple properties to earn an extra income, which will go towards my dream car...an Audi R8!
What advice or tips of positivity would you like to share with others?
Network! Network! Network!, as you never know who will need you in the future, or visa versa. Be nice and polite to everybody. Aim for the absolute top, and even if you fall short, you will be in a good place.
