It has got to be the Dr Zeus quote 'Today you are you. That is truer than true. There is no one alive more youer than you' An upbeat reminder that being yourself and unique is the most important place to start from
What do you love about the Midlands region?
I was born in Birmingham but grew up in Warwickshire, Birmingham has always been a city close to my heart and full of opportunity.
Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
Alongside my day job I run my own health and wellness business which combines my passion for cruelty free, luxury products and offering others the opportunity to earn an additional income whilst developing myself and my entrepreneurial skills.
What is your most favourite aspect of your role?
As much as the varied tasks in my role can be a challenge they also keep my job interesting!
I really enjoy speaking to clients, particularly those that challenge me and develop my skills and understanding of how to deal with a broad range of clients.
What is your career goals and aspirations?
My career plan is to work towards having my own portfolio of clients to manage, I thoroughly enjoy client contact and the relationship management element of my role.
What challenges do you face?
The challenges I face tend to be the diversity of tasks I get involved with it can be anything from preparing client advice reports to diary management and planning client events so the skills involved in each task vary greatly!
What has been your greatest career milestone to date?
My greatest milestone has been starting as a temporary member of the team at Coutts and being made permanent within 6 months.
Who has been your inspiration both personally and professionally?
I would have to say my mum, she has always taught me to think big and to always stand up for yourself. She has also been an amazing parent whilst holding down a fantastic career in teaching, she really is superwoman!
What have been the best part of 2017 for you so far?
My highlight of this year has to be finding out I am having a baby boy, due in November 2017!
What would you like to achieve in the future?
I would like to have my own portfolio of clients, continue growing my business and of course keep happy and fulfilled in what I do.
