At TAG Network Midlands, we are proud of the work we have done to support Trainees, Apprentices, Entrepreneurs, Graduates and Students aged 18 - 35 with the opportunity to gain skills, career and personal development and network with various other young people and professionals within diverse industries.

We are excited to be partnering with Prince's Trust as our ethos, synergy and ability to help young people across the Midlands to mutually deliver opportunities that will have a positive impact on individuals lives, the wider business community and enhance the representation of skills development across the region.

Our dedication to empower and support Traineeships, Apprenticeships and Entrepreneurship through workshops and work-base learning will ensure that people from different backgrounds can achieve their career and personal goals.

This programme runs from 9th October – 10th November 2017 with the University Hospital Birmingham. Mandatory information sessions will be held in August/September 2017, leading up to the taster/selection day on 21st September 2017. Two weeks training/gaining qualifications at the Learning Hub, UHB followed by a 3 week work placement at University Hospital Birmingham – various Clinical and Non-clinical roles available.  

Meet new people, learn new skills and gain work experience. We’ll also help you with your CV. Not only will it boost your confidence and employability skills, but you’ll also have the chance to benefit from the support of one of our mentors to help you uncover your next steps

Are You Aged 18 - 25 & Looking For Work In Hospitality?

The Prince’s Trust, in partnership with Greene King, are running a Get into Hospitality programme where you will meet new people and learn new skills, as well as gaining work experience.  
The programme will include: 


• Understanding the benefits of good customer service within the hospitality industry.

• 2 days training and 3 days experience per week for 3 weeks.

• Understanding the importance of communication skills  

• Improving your skills and interview techniques

• Travel expenses provided

• Be supported by The Prince’s Trust for up to 6 months following the programme 
 
This is an opportunity to secure employment or a place on the award-winning Greene King apprenticeship scheme.  
 
The programme will run from the 2nd – 20th October 2017.  A Taster Day for this opportunity will be held on 28th September 2017.

Do You Want To Get Into Hospitality?

The Prince’s Trust and Whitbread are offering a four week training course in their hotels and restaurants in Birmingham 
  

Get into Hospitality training programme will include: 
• Understanding the benefits of good customer service within the hospitality, catering and retail industry

• Understanding the importance of communication skills  

• Improving your skills and interview techniques

• Travel expenses provided

• Be supported by The Prince’s Trust for up to 6 months following the programme 
 
A Taster Day for this opportunity will be held on 9th October 2017. The programme will run from the 16th October – 10th November 2017.
