I'm Amy Pountney
Occupation: Student
Sector: Graphic Design
Amy Pountney, is a creative web development student who, like many, image their future plans. "I feel like creativity travels through me, however making something aesthetically pleasing isn't always the answer it's about how things feel as equal to how things look. I like to make sure the design works as a whole, and that is the real challenge in design."
"I discovered my creative flare and passion when I studied Media at Halesowen College. It was at that point I knew I wanted to pursue a career in the graphic design industry."
Amy will continue her journey at University by studying a BA Hons in Digital Media Design as she has now completed a one year placement with graphic design company, Squibble Ltd based in the Jewellery Quarter.
Creativity comes naturally to her as she also collaborates with friends and has set up a non-profit organisation called Halesowen Youth Theatre which provides training for children aged 4-19 who have an interest in drama, dance and music. “It is really rewarding to enable them to progress in their chosen art forms and express themselves through performance.”
